Tamera Danel is passionate about the benefits of therapeutic riding. A former special education teacher, she acquired and trained the original three horses in the Turning Point Program.
She bought all the feed, did all the chores and hauled the horses to the various sites the program used in its early years.
From the beginning, she insisted the program meet national standards. She uses her skills as a human resources trainer with our volunteers and is the force behind the Turning Point goal to construct a permanent facility.
